An unreleased song from à;GRUMH… has been sent by email to all our known fans on December 20th. This track, called “Jennifer says” was made in November 2004 by accident during the making of new nEGAPADRES.3.3. songs. You can easily find this song online since many fans must have made it available through Emule or Torrent. If you haven’t received it, another chance to get it by email will be given. Mark your calendars and send an email on January 30th 2009 to S3@genion.be with “please send song” as subject, and very creative insults in your local language in the text, and we will re-email the song on February 1st. Only once.

nEGAPADRES.3.3. received great critic praise and audience response at BERLIN BRUIT industrial music festival
nEGAPADRES.3.3.47 have appeared as forelast band at the Berlin Bruit festival on August 30th 2008. nEGAPADRES.3.3. played in fifth order, just before the headline Sutcliffe Jugend.
The stage featured a large screen on which was displayed a movie by JCS@47 eHPOTSIRHC-nAEJ, and four wooden stands holding dead sheep heads. Two more sheep heads were used by J@3 sEUQCAJ during the performance. S@3 eVETS was present on stage in the shape of a fake dead parrot, in a box.
The gig featured old nEGAPADRES.3.3. (formerly also à;GRUMH… mystical style tracks) prepared by S3 and J3, plus basis added by JCS47, such as Ganja, Ommado-Weeeii, Rebirth, Negakristus, Transe Ov Exstrophy and several new tracks.
The concert was a total length of one hour, during which the audience was very participative and interested, dancing in transe and staying very focused and connected.
A video recording of this gig was made with two cameras, and should be available at some point. Sadly, the main source of audio recording suffered a technical problem and will not be usable. Enjoy these few photos of this memorable gig.
nEGAPADRES.3.3. to appear at Ironflame’s BERLIN BRUIT industrial music festival
nEGAPADRES.3.3. have agreed to appear at the Berlin Bruit festival on August 30th 2008. Other acts include ZEV, Column one, Werkbund, Last Dominion Lost and Stucliffe Jugend. The event also features performances and live exhibition.
There will be a festival-only compilation LP for the Berlin Bruit festival. This record will not be for sale anywhere but only be part of the entrance tickets that night. Each person entering will receive one. The album will include one unreleased track from each band, that will be exclusive to the Berlin Bruit compilation. The tracks will be professionally mastered and cut & pressed in Germany.
Info on the festival main page and also thru Myspace.
nEGAPADRES.3.3. working on two new albums
J3 sEUQCAJ and S3 eVETS have started composing and mixing new tracks for an upcoming nEGAPADRES.3.3. album, and also for another project, an album based on the music from folklorical groups “Les Gilles” from the Binche region. These bands use musicians who are mostly drunk all the time, making it sound between Emir Kouztourica’s band and a hundred of elephant-seals. Based on the locally famous “musiques de Gilles”, S3 and J3 are building a whole album of industrial tracks that will be called “Binche” and whose tracks will all be named after a suburb of the city where the “Gilles” appear every year.
J3 will NOT appear on stage in Antwerpen on January 26th
J3 will not be appearing on January 26th 2008 as “Theee Rebearth Corporation V.3.47” in a festival in Antwerpen. The organizer refused all demands from the band’s very reasonable rider so we decided not to appear.
Several à;GRUMH… pages appeared on Myspace
We just found out several pages about à;GRUMH… have appeared on Myspace. Just make a search for “grumh”. But there’s also a page about J3’s new project SKANDA and I’d also like to mention the tribute page to the late Jerry WX who passed away in 2000.
The new nEGAPADRES.3.3. album praised by critics
“Exstrophy of Amphigouris” has received excellent reviews in most industrial/alternative press organs. The ratings are always the maximum and contain all kinds of superlatives, to the point that the band members themselves are blushing a bit (but not too much). In Aural Pressure, the following review was printed:
Their music is a slow burner. One that requires time to become acquainted with. …/… By track three ‘Seegooyull’ they are going places and using sounds in a totally original and perplexing way that defies convention. And so it goes on. Track four ‘Absinthe a la Guinguette de I’Espadon’ even sounding like the evil sister piece to ‘What a day’ by Throbbing Gristle. There’s far more to unearth but I’ll leave that for you to discover yourself. When I tell you they utilise the sounds of Concorde warming up, Tasmanian Devil nuptial parades, Cicadas, Water, dog howling amongst others and add in a variety of samples culled from varying sources then you’ll suss that “Exstrophy of Amphigouris” is no run of the mill release. What at first appears to be a very cold and sterile mess of a release becomes, over time with repeated plays, an adventurous journey into the absurd. That’s a compliment by the way. For nEGAPADRES.3.3. tease and cajole the listener into a musical realm which they’ve never before become acclimatised to. They challenge convention and come out grinning the other side. …/… “Exstrophy of Amphigouris” is the musical equivalent of the ‘Da Vinci Code’. A massive puzzle requiring patience to get the best from it. …/…
It’s the same thing for the n.3.3. track on Hermetiques’ compilation “A reassuring voiuce on television”, where the n.3.3. track is reviewed as the most surprising and accomplished song on the cd. Extract from the review from Jean-Henri Maisonneuve in Keyboard magazine:
And in his review of the album, the magazine GONZO CIRCUS didn’t hesitate to print:
“…/… Maybe already at the half of 2006, can we speak about the comeback of the year” !
We couldn’t agree more. With humility, of course.
J3 to form new band with local musician
J3 sEUQCAJ has created a new band with Alfamatrix/Aiboforcen member “Benoït”. The band is called SKANDA, which reminds me of the name of ferry companies from the baltic sea, but will focus on electro/industrial mixes. One track can be heard here.
